Today was a beautiful day celebrating my father-in-law's retirement. When I look back at my life at his age, I want to know that I left a legacy behind me.
When I saw this week's Pencil Lines sketch, I knew I had to play with it in digital.

Playing with digital paint is so wonderful! ;) Can't get enough of it! I was painting traditionally last week and all I was thinking was of the mess it was making in my new scrap space. I actually thought to put it away and get the laptop out instead! Ha!
This photo is of my sister and brother-in-law while visiting our new home for the first time in February. I love this photo in black and white. Sometimes just changing a photo to black and white can give you so much more freedom with your layout design.
Create Well: When someone looks at your scrapbook album thirty years from now, will they say you lived a legacy?
