A Sweet Surprise!

We have been waiting to share our news for a couple of more weeks, but as my son explained Sunday night, "Mommy, do you have a baby in in there cause your tummy is big and fat!?" Oh - my - dear. Yes - he - did. So, we figured it was finally time to tell him the news Monday afternoon. He has been excitedly running around the house chanting that he is going to be a "big brother!" We couldn't have dreamed it better.

Our family is beyond excited since Dave and I have been trying to grow our family for over two and a half years. Believe me when I tell you that it is all in God's hands and in His perfect timing. We feel so blessed and extremely thankful.

We have been patiently waiting for the rain to stop and the sun to come out for just a few minutes, so we could put our camera on a self timer and get some photos to share with you. Well, it did neither today (What was I thinking?! It is Oregon in December!) So, we took these in the misty rain with Dave running to get into position in within 10 seconds.

I am so pleased that he did because I am in love with the photos! Look at that bump and I am only 11 weeks! Ha!
