Craft Warehouse Valentine's

Happy New Year! I love the concept of "one little word" to begin the new year out and as I think about what word I want to claim, "peace" keeps coming back to me. It is a continual reminder that I need to search for His peace in my everyday.

"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Phil 4:7 NIV

At the moment, I am knee deep in packages ready to ship out to Craft Warehouse stores. You would think I would be sad to see these 40 projects leave but actually "nesting" syndrome began last week and I am glad to see them go out the door!

No matter what my head said, I still had to totally clean out the studio's closet so that I could move the entire studio inside of it for our sweet new arrival. It didn't matter that CHA is next week, that I had several deadlines to meet, or these 40 projects to finish and pack up.

After I was finished, two days later mind you, I realized that I like having a place for everything. I also liked being forced to purge. It felt good to give items I couldn't use to my niece who is becoming quite the scrapbooker/crafter.

Here are some of the fun Valentine's Day projects I created with American Crafts' XOXO line.

Craft Warehouse wanted clear buckets for displays. I left the lid off so you could see the inside paper. I want to fill these up with chocolate kisses! A great little gift for the kids too! Just add goodies and a little stuffed animal at the top.

I had to use Lawn Fawn's My Silly Valentine stamps, which is considered an "everyday" item at Craft Warehouse. I think it is because all the images go well with any card you would like to make. I created a band around a pair of Valentine's Day socks and stamped the image on pattern paper. I love these!

I also think this project is fun and super easy! How sweet would it be to put Sweet Tarts inside these Valentines? No glue needed for the base! Just paper and staples!

Lastly, I created these fun pop bottle tags. Each bottle looks different so they were really fun to make. Have to admit, I drank a couple too. ;) They are Jones "pink" bottles, that are cream soda favored, supporting breast cancer research. Pretty cool.

Create Well: Now that these are packed and ready to be shipped, I am preparing for CHA next week!
