It's when the rain stops, the sun warms our wet valley, and their is not a cloud in the sky that I really see God's beautiful hand in this season. Growing up in San Diego, I didn't see the change in the season as predominantly as I do here in Oregon. The birds are chirping, the trees are starting to bloom and flowers are popping up everywhere. It is like a picture book.
Then Easter comes along and the feeling of complete humbled gratefulness for God's love for me and you fills my soul. Normally this week I would have had a Resurrection egg hunt with my little man sharing with him the true reason for why we do what we do this Sunday. But, instead my husband and I have been spending our vacation tending to a very sick little man. Thankfully, he is getting better right in time for Easter Sunday and instead of running around we are just enjoying each other. It is peaceful right now which means it is easier to reflect on all Jesus has done. In that peaceful moment, I am able to just thank Him.
Which is all He wants us to do anyway.
Create Well: Happy Easter!
