Craft Warehouse - Bailey's Irish and Cream

Last week a friend came by with the yummiest homemade Bailey's Irish and Cream. When my husband and I tried it we both looked at each other and said we had to make our own! Our friend had it in a recycled snap bottle which made me think of the coolest snap bottles Craft Warehouse carries. Which then spun the thought of all the cool gifts I could give this coming holiday season!

Craft Warehouse - Lawn Fawn S'more Favors

When I sent my husband to get chocolate for my daughter's birthday party he came back with a "pound brick"! How was I to make s'more favors with that? Well, let me tell you - carefully and with a chef knife. After the mess of cutting the squares they turned out pretty cute.

Heidi Swapp - Tag Book

So, our dear media team member and friend, Lindsay Bateman, had her baby almost two weeks ago. It was the team's idea to make her a tag book using the new Heidi Swapp Dreamy Kraft Tags! Then, the girls would send them all to me to add them to a ring and send the tags as a Tag Book to read and add her own little photos to.

My husband called me one day a few weeks ago, saying, "You got something in the mail from Heidi and from Manhattan!" Crack me up that he didn't notice it wasn't from New York, but from Illinois and dear Sarah! I was trying to talk him into not opening it until I got home, but he was so excited to see what Heidi sent. Of course my explaining that it was a tag, didn't make any sense and he finished with, "It looks fragile." lol... Yes, I felt pretty special getting mail from the girls to compile the entire book. I can't wait until Lindsay gets it in the mail!

Heidi Swapp - New Stencils!

 

So, I might still get giddy over the fact that I have little dresses filling up the nursery's drawers. It is allowed right? The minute I saw this little dress at Target, I knew I wanted to use Heidi Swapp's new Tiny Heart 12x12 Stencil to make it turquoise and coral. (I know, I am obsessed with the color combination, but who isn't?!)

By no means is my family wealthy. But, we are thankful every day for the roof over our heads, our warm bed, and food on the table. I can remember times in my life where I didn't and God provided some way, some how. I remember times in my life where a small act of kindness helped me. Craft Warehouse - Presents Tag

Anyone else getting excited about making Christmas cards? I am definitely not a card maker. Why bother when my sister is and I can ask her for handmade cards? ;)

But this line from Echo Park makes me want to be! Craft Warehouse had us create five cards and a tag. This tag is simple but fun! I am looking forward to a bright and cheerful tree this year. Lots of red, white, and maybe some touches of vintage brights. Know what I mean?
