Heidi Swapp - Back to School with Stencils

Motherhood needs a manual. Like a big thick one with those tabs that hang off the side, so you can get to the subject you want quickly. Tabs that say, "How to get your six year old to bed without making you wish you were in yours" and "How to make it so that you don't hear babies crying when they really aren't." The other night I went into the nursery and tried to put the baby's pacifier in her mouth thinking she was crying when she wasn't. If she wasn't what baby woke me up from my sleep then?

What keeps me grounded and gives me peace is being able to work in my studio - errr, family room. lol... No matter where I work, I love being able to have a place to make lovely things. I have several projects going at the same time right now. A couple of mini books and Memory Files all using Heidi Swapp's new product. I am really excited about her new releases and new Color Shine.

I created this pencil case for Heidi's blog using the new Citron and Navy Color Shine. Who would have known that lime would be a new favorite color for me?!

I created it as a thank you to my son's new teacher, who before school has even started is already reaching out to him with kindness. She loved it.
