Today Heidi Swapp and Gossamer Blue is having a blog swap! I had the privilege to use Gossamer's November Main Kit and Add On Kit to make something special, as some of Heidi's Mixed Company collection is featured in both kits.
I placed a binding mechanism in Heidi Swapp's Color Magic Shadow Frame so that I could create a photo display. I loved so many pieces in the kit that I just wanted to place them somewhere so I could look at them often.
To give the entire display some elegance, I hung pre-strung beads to each of the binder rings and added misted seam binding.
Honestly, this project might look intimidating, but really I just cut different pieces of the kit and added it to the rings. I love layers. I love layers that peek through to other layers even more.
This piece comes from Heidi Swapp's Mixed Company Ephemera pack.
I love this confetti page. To create it, I cut two pieces of velum. I then ran one piece through my Xyron Sticker Maker. With the sticky part up, I sprinkled some confetti on it. Then I sandwiched the two velum pieces together. Super easy, right?!
I decorated the top with the gold frame, butterflies, flower, and star rub ons.
To add a little bit more bling on this page, I used Stickles to color the pink confetti paper and the Maggie Holmes heart chipboard piece.
I added some more photographs to the next pages.
Then, simply, I sprayed the Dear Lizzy "love" chipboard piece with the new Blush Color Shine by Heidi Swapp and hung it from the binder ring.
There are some pieces in the kit that I loved and had to add, like this piece from Maggie Holmes' Flea Market paper. To add a little more to the piece, I traced the numbers with Stickles.
Honestly, this kit has my favorite products from Heidi Swapp, Dear Lizzy, Glitz Design, Maggie Holmes, and Gossamer Blue exclusives. I am so thankful to have a place to display all these beautiful products with some new family photos.
Make sure to visit Gossamer Blue to enter to win the the November Main Kit and Heidi's Facebook Fan Page to enter to win two 48 sheet paper pads!
