I am so excited to share with you this special project I created for Heidi Swapp's blog today! It is by far one of my favorite projects I have ever made - mostly because it only took me 15 minutes to make. YES! You heard me right! Once you have your supplies gathered it only takes 15 minutes! Talk about instant gratification!
This wooden canvas board has a binding mechanism on it to hang Heidi Swapp's new 4x6 cards from last week's new Hello Today release! All I did was punch holes at the top of the cards and slid them on. You can get the entire step by step tutorial on her blog!
After you find a cool place to hang your new piece of art in Heidi's handwriting, you can get to decorating the pages! I chose pictures to remind me to "Choose Happy" and I will be adding to my book every time I have a favorite "happy" photo.
I couldn't wait to dig into the new supplies from the Hello Today release. There are new layered banners and clear stickers that are perfect for layering along with the chipboard stickers (from the last Hello Today release).
The 4x6 cards make the perfect background paper for the new 3x4 cards! They have the best prompts! I just glued one on the 4x6 card and added my photo, paper punches, Color Magic Paper Goods, and a chipboard sticker!
The new Clear Stickers work perfectly in so many other products like the Color Magic Paper Goods... I really love layering it all!
I am in love with the new Butterfly Clips that I could use them on every project if I had enough! They are so much fun. Each one has a rhinestone for a little bling.
I think my favorite part of using these 4x6 cards is that most of the hard work has been done for me! The patterns are already outstanding... I can customize them by adding some stickers or ephemera!
I hope you were inspired to make something for your home that will remind you to be grateful and happy!
Create Well: Make an extra copy of a favorite photo so that you can add it to a 4x6 card to document your many blessings.
