"Serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts." - 1 Chronicles 28:9
When reading the definition, I can easily see what God is asking us to do. He wants us to serve him with a "willing" mind and pure heart. Don't we want that for all our relationships?
I can tell when someone is spending time with me by obligation. The conversation isn't meaningful and doesn't go beyond the weather and how my kids are doing at school. I can see how God can get hurt when I have the same kind of conversation with Him. He can tell when I don't have my heart into communicating with Him.
I am enjoying this Bible journaling experience. As I paint and write I am able to learn and study about each verse that I am working on. It really is a form of worship that I am falling in love with.
