Bible Journaling - Take Refuge
Monday, May 16, 2016Who can be against us if God is for us? Psalms 118 was what my brother-in-law spoke about, when he was able to be a guest speaker at his church. I love technology. Although I am miles away, I can still listen to his church's podcasts.

The message of Psalm 118: 1-29 really spoke to my heart. Verse 5 and 6 is what I chose to journal about, "When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place. The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?"
For this particular art page, I painted the background with the Illustrated Faith Paint Set. This set is the perfect color combination of acrylics I have ever seen in a set! I also used the Illustrated Faith Mat with the cross stencil on it, and applied Heidi Swapp black texture paste to it with an Illustrated Faith Paint Card. I love how beautiful the texture paste turned out! I had no idea it would work so perfectly!
Lastly, I added the title, with Illustrated Faith Letters Stickers, and my favorite new Illustrated Faith Washi Tape. This time I used the Send Me Washi Tape but I also love the Just Believe one too!
If you would like to listen to the encouraging message as well, here is the link to the podcast! I hope you are inspired to do a page yourself!
