I used one piece of the chipboard as my template and created one of the pages to extend out by tracing a file folder tab. I added ribbon to the rings for some added color.
The white ribbon was stamped with these! I loved how it turned out and am going to do this again. I also cut a slit in the ribbon and ripped it in half so that they are bit frayed. You can see in the first photo that the orange ribbon has two different colors. I really like the look.
I cut one of the felt pieces in half and used Gel Medium to attach the paper to the felt. I then stitched over top.
I wanted my first page to start on the other side of the felt so that the journaling wouldn't distract from the title. I love this transparency from the Delight line. My journaling reads for number 1, "The way you teach me how to be a better person everyday" and for number 2, "The way you surprise me every time you open your mouth. You are always thinking one step faster than I can keep up!"I am looking forward to sharing more soon!
