Evans Genealogy: Florence Petterson Cuff

I try to be as much of an eco-friendly artist as I can. Either that or I am a pack-rat and can't throw anything away. Not sure which. I love everything old, retro, vintage... whatever you call it to make excuses for keeping way too much junk. ;) I can't throw anything away that is a more than two inches wide... I feel guilty and take it back out of the trash and into my scrap folder.

When I got my pictures back this week I went to throw away the index photos that come with the prints. I pulled them back out of the trash because this time I saw the new family vintage photos instead. I had an idea and started sketching it that night.

Here is the result. I am not a seamstress but I do love stitching so much! I took my scraps of ribbon, muslin, and added the sweet buttons. Since I am not a seamstress buttonholes freak me out. So, I added vintage snaps to keep it closed instead.
