Craft Warehouse: Life Stories Necklaces

There is still a chance to win a seat in Lain's LOAD Challenge in the post below.

I finished one of the Craft Warehouse project this week. *Sigh!* I am loving these necklaces that I created for my designer-choice. I designed these with the new My Mind's Eye line, Life Stories.

This first necklace I bought two chains. The large linked one I attatched to the beads. The small chain I broke apart to use several parts of it for the charms. This necklace was made with no drilling. The charms were glued to bails. For the charms I put paper in between two fragments and used Glossy Accents to glue them together.

Supplies - Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye, Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger Inc.; Adhesive: Glossy Accents by Ranger Inc. and E-6000; Other: beads, two size chains, jump rings, bails

I love the antique feel this necklace has! I drilled into the fragment and hammered in the eyelets.

Supplies - Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye, Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger Inc.; Rhinestones: Prima Marketing; Adhesive: Glossy Accents by Ranger Inc.; Other: beads, chain, jump rings, eyelets, thread, ribbon, and fabric

For this necklace I just drilled into two fragments and ran a jumpring through the holes to add the beads. I love Prima Marketing flowers and had to sew a few on the fabric. One thing I learned while drilling on this project is that you need to be tough! I was trying to be gentle and careful with the fragment. Some advice... just hold that sucker and drill it! ;) After doing this for everyone for Christmas gifts, I haven't had one break on me yet!
