On Sunday the weather cleared up enough to scramble quickly out of the house, pile our things into the car, and head over the the baskett slough. Before the little man was born, we use to go all the time and photograph wildlife. There were many times we were able to see eagles, deer, egrets, great blue herons, and much more on our trips out to the slough. This was our first time hiking a small trail with our son and he lasted half way before he had to be carried. ;)
I also knew that it would be a beautiful chance to get some family photos. The hard part about being photographers is that you rarely get the tripod out to set the timer for a photograph of the family. So, again, our family pictures were of just one or two... But, my husband did a brilliant job of it. ;) I can't wait to do some pages with the pictures. Here is a sneak peek of some Dave took of me.
