Craft Warehouse - Spring Has Sprung

I loved this assignment from Craft Warehouse! We got Tim Holtz' Configuration Box along with K&Company product. It was quite the challenge but once I got started, it was so much fun that I finished it in a couple of days.

 

I got some spring moss in the floral department of Craft Warehouse to add to the bottom of a few of the boxes. 

I wanted some of the pieces to come out of the box so I used synthetic wine corks. With the synthetic corks, I could easy cut them whereas the real corks would have crumbled. 

I used 18 gauge wire from the hardware store to make a photo holder.

Rock candy and Stickles give these butterflies sparkle. 

I made a nest from wire and added paper and a plastic egg.

I used door pulls for my feet.

I used a crackle medium for the box. Although, it was quite a process to get it this way, I would do it again. ;)
