I can't get enough of the layers in here! As I start creating, I just go for it! I add little touches here and there, tags, and punches on top of die cuts. When I am done, I sit back and flip through the book. Then, it is fun to find all the little treasures hidden inside.
Here is a page that I added a cut-to-size trading card holder. I wanted to add little things in the pockets and be able to see the beautiful paper as well. I {heart} translucent pages!
Why not use the Circles from the Artisan Collection to circle the day of the month on a City Sidewalks tag?
I added a photo inside a mini velum envelope. You can even put several inside!
I kept this card I got last year. I treasure handmade cards I receive in the mail. I don't ever get rid of them. I totally save them for my journals and Smash Books. This one was perfect to fit inside the envelope I sewed along with the pages of the book. I cut the front from the card and placed it on the opposite side of the envelope as shown below.
Yeah... It went perfectly with the opposite page and this vintage inspired flash card of Santa. All of these embellishments are so much fun!
Yeah, I even added the envelope that Jeanean's card came in. I had to keep it. It was so classic. Kraft envelope with a plain white snowflake stamp. I added City Sidewalk journaling cards inside.
Create Well: I honestly have no excuse this year in not making a December Daily album. This line makes it so easy to do so!
