Pink Paislee - City Sidewalks Mini Book Part 1

Before we left for vacation last week, I finished this little December Daily mini album and shipped it off to CHA for Pink Paislee...

It was so darling that it was hard to say goodbye. There are so many layers and journaling cards in this mini that it was really hard to capture it in photographs. I love interactive albums. It makes looking at it later so much more fun.

I created this album just as I would if it were December already! I sewed all the pages to this album together with my sewing machine. Even though I was using a heavy duty needle, I swear I almost broke my machine! ;) I had to crank the wheel by hand. Maybe next time, I would take a page or two out.

I kept the cover very simple, since a December Daily would normally be sitting on a shelf and I would hate for layers to come off.

Pages are created at different sizes using all of the City Sidewalk elements (paper, tags, die cuts, etc.)

The reason why I chose a December Daily album, is because my Christmas albums are always done in red, white, black, with a touch of blue. Exactly the colors of City Sidewalks! I added the paperclip and vintage letter tile. Everything else is new product!

There is an envelope sewn into the book; you can see the flap here. These are photos I had in my album last year.

You can see the tags and different sized pages here. I love being able to see other pages peek through.

Adding a velum envelope is perfect so that you don't miss out on seeing the beautiful City Sidewalks paper.

Pink Paislee's Artisan line works perfectly with this line too! I love the circle stickers. I could have colored them, but chose to keep them white.

I added my "everyday" December photos too because it works!

I have a box where I keep items that I find through out the year that could work in my December Daily album. Sometimes those items make my book and sometimes they don't. This postmarked stamp didn't make it into my album last year, but it is perfect for this one!

Stay tuned in for the rest of the pages later this week!
