I love that I have been keeping up on my December Daily photos and album. Instagram is saving me this year! ;) Plus, this little pre-made album is so fun. The only thing I have realized is that it is getting pretty thick and it is only the 11th. Shoot. So, I am having to turn down the layering notch and keep things flat. This page, it being day 2, of course I didn't!
The 2nd of December we celebrated my sister-in-law and nephew's birthday. It is nice because they always make my December Daily some how. This year I made sure that my 18 year old nephew was photographed! The lighting was terrible since the party was indoors and at night. So, I used the light from the dining room and Christmas tree to get what I could with my phone and used the black and white filter in Instagram to make the contrast of light in the photo. I love it. ;)
I also used Heidi Swapp's digital Word Kit called "Days" and used my Silhouette to cut out "Sunday." I should also note that my journaling will be added all at once about twice during the month. But, I wanted to keep up on the pages here so that you could see the process of how I keep things simple!
Create Well: In hard lighting conditions? Don't let that keep you from capturing that memory! Try converting the photo in black and white and play with the lighting to get it just as you like it!
