Heidi Swapp - Hello Friend Memory File Layout

When I sat down and thought out how I wanted to document my recent trip to California, I decided (for the fourth time) that I wanted to just take it slow, create beautiful pages, and tell all the stories I wanted to - how I wanted to. The only way I was going to be able to do that, is to make my pages and then bind them all together later.

So, here is my first double page spread with a little memorabilia pocket that I made to help me tell even more of this specific story. This is Maggie Massey, from the Heidi Swapp Media Team, at Crystal Cove State Beach.

I have a lot to say about each set of pictures and I don't want to slack on this part at all! So I typed the journaling out and added it to the back of the pocket.

This layout is featured on Heidi's blog today along with an article about "how I stay organized." I have had a lot of questions about my "stash bags." I usually Smash book with them and you can see them in most of my Smash videos. You can also see my new scrap space on Heidi's blog too, which pretty much is now in a closet. ;) Baby is coming and I have officially moved. There is even a video there so hop on over to check it out!

Also, since I love you all so much, I created another video while making this layout so you could see me using my system not just Smashing but scrapbooking too. Enjoy!

Create Well: Use the color in your photos to inspire you to use your stash for your next layout!
