Heidi Swapp - June Memory Planner Pages
Sunday, July 5, 2015I feel like every month ends and I look back at my planner and it looks a little different. I guess the process organically changes for me. Every month my documentation works the same, but how I choose to add my photos or decorate is always focusing on one thing - time management. It's all about keeping this process manageable.
So this month, I am proud that I have been taking more photos. To get them to this style I am editing in an app and printing them 4 on a 4x6 with my Canon Selphy. I love saving a buck when it comes to printing multiple photos on a sheet.
I am loving my handmade labels for the dentist, doctor, and even shopping. I made the gorgeous with some foil and my Minc foil applicator machine! If you haven't downloaded the freebie, you can here.
Stickers and washi are some of my favorite things to add to my planner this month.
Summer is in full swing which means more pictures. That makes me so happy.
I am also making sure I have my phone on me all the time so I can get amazing captures like the one of my father in law above. I was walking behind them and just had to pull it out and take a couple of quick shots. One turned out and I am so glad I had a camera at my fingertips.
I also made sure that I tried to get everyone pictured in the planner this month. Enough of both children and Dad needed to be in there too! He doesn't always like to be photographed, but I remind him that this is important. When he sees I want to capture these special moments with the children, he is 100% for it.
Dad was also proud to take us in to his work. It isn't open to families as he works in a distribution warehouse and most areas are off limits due to heavy machinery. Every six months he bids for his new shift and this is the first time since Bre has been born that we went in with him at his bid time to see how it works. We don't get pictures of his work, so I knew it was important to get a photo while I was there. Above he is pointing to his photo which is perfect to see where he is in seniority to the rest of the warehouse-men.
Birthday parties filled the end of our month and I really want to add some more photos here. The 4x6 flaps are perfect for adding one photo, but I think I am going to have to add a few more full photo shots and use my We R Memory Keeper Fuse to create homemade page protectors for them.
This is the last month I am using this particular planner for this year! I felt like 6 months fit the binder perfectly. I am saving the other six months for another project. Stay tuned into my blog to see what planner I have decided to finish the rest of my year in!
