Today I am so excited to share a new way to foil! Last year I shared a DIY Foiled Vinyl project that works great for a permanent surface. However, the vinyl needs to be pre-cut to the design you want to foil with a digital die cutting machine. The tutorial I am sharing today can be for those that do not have a die cutting machine (or to use with the print and cut feature if you do have one). Let me show you how this special vinyl works!

Imagine using a vinyl that can run through your laser printer and then placed into the Heidi Swapp Minc to foil?!! The possibilities will be endless, right?! If you own the Minc, you will only need a few supplies to get this look!

1. Print your design on to the Printable Vinyl with your laser printer according to directions.
2. Run the vinyl through the Minc on heat setting 2.
3. Cut your design out. For these planters, I use a clean and sterilized can and trimmed the vinyl to size. If you have a digital die cutting machine, like the Silhouette Cameo 3, use the "print and cut" feature to cut your design from the vinyl.
This would make a fun wedding or party center piece or even a special gift idea! What about using this idea for a planner?!
Just print, foil, and stick!
I want to make note, that this vinyl is not permanent to use on a mug or other dish. I wouldn't hand wash your projects with this DIY. If you are looking to do something more permanent, I recommend using this DIY Foiled Vinyl tutorial instead.
