Project Life - Heidi Swapp and Pink Paislee

One of the good things about having friends who also take photographs, is that you are more likely to have more photos to scrapbook when spending time together. When you can't get them to email them to you in a timely manner, just steal them off their Instagram feed. ;)

If you know me, you know I am kidding. I usually only steal my sister's photos and in this case I might have taken a few from Heidi Swapp's Instagram feed. Here is my left side of the page.

My left side of this page had a few photos of our weekend preparing for the arrival of Rebecca Cross (of Pink Pasilee) and Heidi Swapp for a conference being held by Sierra Pacific Crafts (SPC). My twin sister got the time off to join in on the fun too.

I used several different Chic Tags on both layouts. They really work perfect for small embellishments. I also added a Maggie Holmes bow by Crate Paper.

Heidi was working her magic at the show and I felt so blessed to just sit and get a personal lesson how to use her new stencils!

This photo has to be my all time favorite. We all tried to get in the photo but it ended up looking like Rebecca and Becca photo bombed it. lol... The "Story" title is by Dear Lizzy from her Lucky Charm collection.

Here is my right side of the page.

I mixed several Project Life collections to get this look. I wanted lots of mint on my page, as it is Heidi's favorite color at the moment. I used cards from the Honey, Midnight, and Jade Core Kits.

Then for finishing touches, I added washi tape to the top of a card and Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm stickers along with my journaling.

I can't help but smile remembering picking Heidi up from the airport. We insisted on going inside and meeting her at baggage claim. I made a sign that said, "Super Star" since she had just done a spot on Studio 5 where the host kept calling her that. We made quite the noise coming into the baggage area and she was so surprised. It was a good laugh for sure.

Create Well: Need extra photos to tell your story? Ask a friend or family member that was at the event with you for some! They will be happy to oblige.
