One of the hardest things about having c-sections is the loss of capturing the birth story. The rule about photography in our hospital is that you can take photos as long as you do not get the doctors in the shot. Of course, my husband was going to be next to me, encouraging me, not on the "other side of the curtain" photographing the surgery. So when the nurse asked if she could take photos for us we assumed that she would be just capturing the two of us and then our daughter when they brought her to us.
Needless to say, we were quite surprised when we loaded the photos on the computer! The nurse actually captured the birth in a beautifully clean way! We were so surprised and thankful to have this moment captured because it so special!
