I am reviewing some questions I had heard from an old message at my mom's group. I found this one...

"How do you see God's presence in your life, the life of your children, knowing He is in control?" In this time of uncertainty, as a mother of small children, and thinking about their future after reading that question, I had such peace knowing He is in control of my life.
The verse that went with the question was from Daniel 2:20-21,
Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
wisdom and power are his.
He changes times and seasons;
he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning.
This verse hit me in so many ways, reminding me that I am not in control even though I forget so many times. In weakness I try and fix things in my own life or wonder why things are happening in the world. The verse says that those with good judgement will gain wisdom if we ask it. I need to ask it often! Also, the verses begin with praise. No matter what I am going through I want that to be first on my lips.
