Why are cards a challenge for me? I wonder if I have always stayed away from cardmaking because of my twin sister, Becca. When growing up we always loved the same things but my mom made sure we shined in our own areas. Even down to the books we read; my mom made sure I stayed away from Becca's Nancy Drew and her away from Anne of Green Gables. I took Art; Becca took Drama. Maybe I stayed away from cardmaking because Becca was so good at it. It comes easy for her. Why bother when she would make me any card I asked her for? ;)
But, alas, I wish I paid more attention to how Becca actually does it. I mean for me it took me several hours to create the card below. I mean seriously! Craft Warehouse wants three cards this month. I have them finished but will share this one first.
I curled the paper around a pencil and tucked it under the flower. I also use the pencil to curl the flower petals.
