Earlier this month I had the pleasure of teaching a session about Choosing Joy in Your Everyday: Modern Memory Keeping for the Modern Mom. I was able to speak to 50 moms with young children about the importance of documenting just one thing everyday. Documenting joy and why it is important. I wanted to share with you some of what I shared with them...

I shared why photography is important to our lives.
1. Our photographs tell us what is important to us. Just like the little girl in this commercial, she could tell who or what was important to her mom by what photographs were printed.
2. Photographs are a part of our legacy.
3. Photography is a way we can tell our story. No matter what our story is.
Documenting one little thing in our lives, even small little moments, creates joy and thankfulness. I encouraged the women to print their pictures, document joy, and then when discouraged they can look back at their planner to see their lives filled with such good beautiful things!
This is how I will be using my Memory Planner in 2016! I did my entire 2015 year and was so happy with all the memories I captured and wrote down.
After showing the moms how to print their photos from their phones, each of them got to open their own Memory Planner!
And boy were they excited! Lol!
I walked them through the planner and we even added a few number stickers to our planners together. If you have ever seen 50 women trying to put clear stickers in their planner at the same time, let me tell you - it was a sight. Ha! It looks like some of you might need some extra help with that! So, I made a quick video tutorial!
I am excited to document 2016! I know this planner will be filled with memories that I will treasure forever.
