DIY Foil Distressed Pails
Wednesday, June 22, 2016I love this time of year when school supplies are stocked in stores! I love the smell of a new crayon box, notebooks, and lined paper! While visiting Target, I found these cute buckets in all colors in the Bulls-eye section - they were $1 each! I knew a bit of distressed foil would give it a fun look!

Supplies:
Target Spritz Metal Pail
Heidi Swapp Minc Champagne Foil
Foam Brush
Minc Rotary Cutter or Scissors used just for foil
Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue
How to get a distressed foil look:
1) Brush Tacky Glue on to surface of the pail.
2) Cut a small piece of foil to use at a time. Then, press on to glue with color side up. Remove, and press again. The foil will stick to the pail.
3) Continue the process, randomly pressing the foil on the pail until the pail is finished.
I love how this turned out and I can't wait to try this technique on other surfaces! In the meantime, my office is going to shine!
Use a colored foil for a completely different two-toned look!
