DIY Foiled Bag

I am getting super excited for our vacation coming up! I just had to customize and foil a pouch to keep my summer must-haves in! Now, if we were only going to Hawaii ... lol! I love being able to foil and customize anything with the Heidi Swapp Minc Foil Applicator Machine

I create what I love and love to share what I create.

I also love to find things to customize with my Silhouette machine! This bag is made with muslin and is treated which is why the vinyl design stuck on. (With other fabrics, I would have used an iron on transfer). I found this specific 8"x10" bag in the card section of my local big box store by Hallmark! It was less than $3 and now looks like a whole lot more!

Aloha Pineapple by Sofie Gallo - Design ID #137249

How to:

1. Cut your design from vinyl with the Silhouette.

2. Cut the pineapple with scissors. Watch this how-to video to see how I removed the negative of the image, foiled it, and then transferred it to my surface. Although in the video I transferred the foiled image on to a mug, the same application was done to this bag!

3. After transferring the pineapple to the middle of the bag, apply the plain black letters to the bag the same way. I didn't foil these letters but just left them black.

Here is another example I made with a cosmetic bag by Caboodle! I love how this transformed it into an awesome pencil case!

Have fun trying out this technique and foil all the things!
