I finished my mother-in-law's gift for Mother's Day this week and I wanted to share {My earlier post showed the inside} I created this piece from a damaged children's book that I picked up from a library sale last week.
I wanted to keep the front very simple, since no one will really be looking at the front when it's displayed. But, I did want to keep the same color scheme and similar rub-ons. I white washed everything afterwards to help all the pieces blend in.
