Between making gifts for family members, making gifts for friends, I am now making gifts for my sister to give away to her friends. Ha! I am having a fun learning new projects and techniques. Here is another page from my mini album I created to give away this Christmas.

I checked out some new books from the public library like Pretty Little Purses and Pouches, Sewing Clothes Kids Love, and Bend the Rules with Fabric. I can't wait to read them and get inspired.

While I was at the library checking them out, on the intercom system they announced that there was a tornado warning and that everyone in the building should move to the center of library away from the windows. I looked around and the whole library is filled with windows! It isn't every day that you hear about a tornado going through Oregon. In fact, this would be my first time hearing of a tornado going through my town - ever!

After fifteen minutes the warning was lifted. But, I found out afterward that the tornado touched down five minutes from my home and right down the street from Becca's home. My uncle is the Postmaster in Aumsville, where the tornado hit. We are so thankful that the tornado turned and hit across the street from where he was! No one was hurt even though people were in the buildings that roofs were removed from the storm. God is good!
